Industry Evolution
With the standardization of products, material testing
equipment has evolved one of the most critical requirements for diverse
Industries. The primary instruments used for testing included universal
testing machines, Servopulser fatigue testing machines, hardness testers and
particle size analyzers. These machines have been widely used to assure
quality of production metrics.
Essentially, testing machines has been in existence since the onset of
advanced manufacturing techniques. Since 1917, the material testing
equipment has undergone a rapid transformation introducing innovative
designs and technology.
AG-A high-precision universal testing machine (1983) was amongst the first
to incorporate computerized control, which significantly improved efficiency
by facilitating data processing and measurement.
After three years rigorous research, the 30MN structural testing machine
(1976) became the world's largest class of testing instrument that was able
to perform testing on actual, full-size structures, instead of modeled
prototypes.
The future of material testing industry provides scope of development of
innovative technology to meet the ever-changing needs of different
industries across the globe.
